Unauthorized Charge to my Credit Card for Rejected Entertainment Rewards Membership, Scam Tagged to Ticketmaster Online Services. Ripoff Troy Michigan

A couple of months ago, in mid-May I bought show tickets from Ticketmaster on their website using my MasterCard credit card. During the course and process of that online transaction, there came up a solicitation for a free 30-day membership to Entertainment Rewards. I rejected that option and completed my ticket purchase.

I just now received my July credit card statement and there was an unauthorized charge on it for $9 from Entertainment Rewards. I called the credit card company, and they said Entertainment Rewards had since charged my account an additional $9. I have disputed the charges and I expect they will be reversed. However, that doesn't address the fact that these crooks are charging customers for Entertainments Rewards memberships that the customers did not agree to, or even rejected. I did not request or authorize the charges in my case.indeed, I absolutely rejected them.

Ticketmaster and Entertainment Rewards wrongfully charged my account. Presumably, this is an ongoing practice of theirs for which there must be countless victims. They are wrongfully charging customers for memberships that the customers did not agree to, or even rejected. Apparently, they basically steal $9 a month from the customers until the customer catches them. Somebody needs to put an end to it.

I, myself, will not use Ticketmaster again. I thought they were a good, convenient, trustworthy service. But they were/are clearly a participant in this scam.
