Primo Tickets sold me a ticket to a high-profile event during the first few hours of the tickets being available. I chose my ticket carefully as it was very expensive and prices had risen considerably in just a few hours. After the online purchase I received a receipt via email, complete with a unique order ID number.
When the ticket did not present in the mail and I had also noticed that my appropriate credit card had not been charged I contacted the company several times in the hopes that there was only a delay. The person I spoke to always took my information and promised to return my calls when the issue had been investigated.
However after several repetitions it was clear that there was no intent to help rectify the wrong against me; they were simply saying the expected response in the hopes that I would eventually go away. At this time I researched the availability of similar tickets to the same show; they were indeed available through the same ticketing agency and could have been given to me, but the company was instead attempting to sell the tickets at six times the price they had given me for the first purchase.
This company will use a fan's enthusiasm to define the highest price the market will sustain, and then refuse to deliver the tickets that they promise. I was willing to pay a high price to them to begin with but all I really wanted was to see a concert.
