Warning all bands! Ripoff

Mike, the owner, hired our band to play a 4-hour set for $300 then cut us short half-way and would only pay us $150. We don't do pro rata gigs. We had a video crew and recording gear at the show and had to pay a huge bar tab because we expected to get paid the full $300. We learned that this was not the first time the owner has pulled this scam.

Be forewarned, if Mike decides he doesn't like you, he will breach his contract with you and you will be out the bar tab and the rest of the money he promised you!
