Ripoff charged almost double advertised rate! Hemet California

We wanted to go on a sailplane ride and looked online for information. We found ADVflights.com had the best rates at $75 for 20 minutes. We called and made a reservation. When we got our credit card bill it was $140 for the flight.

When we called to complain, Coleen said we ordered aerobatics. We told her they hadn't reserved an aerobatics plane and we didn't get an aerobatics ride. She said that the published rate ($75) was for a 20 minute flight and since our flight was almost 30 minutes that the charge was $120. The airport told us (and published the rate of $85 for 30 minutes.

When we complaied about the false advertising, we were told there was nothing they could do and that they refused to refund the amount we were ripped off by their company.

I would recommend avoiding ADVflights all together. Go directly to your local sailplane or hot air baloon airport and work with the local operator in your area!

ADVflights is a rip off!
