My mother who is 93 years young received, through the mail, a prayer rug with a request for a charitable donation. She is not in a position to contribute and was extremely upset by the letter received for St. Matthew's aka Prayer by Letter. She has never contributed to them before and has no idea where they obtained her name and address from. Something needs to be done to organizations such as the above mentioned one to stop preying on the elder.
