Salvation Army
When I made a donation, the movers stole my camera

Politics & Government

I donated a piece of furniture to the Salvation Army. The men who came to pick it up stole my digital camera. Yes, I know I should have put it away, but I was thinking, they'll only be here a few minutes.

Later, when I called to report the incident to the Salvation Army I was told that they have too many trucks going out each day to keep track of everything. Yet that is a very poor excuse when you consider the fact that the pickup was scheduled, and the driver had to sign the receipt that he gave me.

I am completely disgusted with this whole situation and feel that if it is not rectified that I will never again donate a single penny to the Salvation Army. I thought they were all about helping people? Why won't they help me?

And why have dishonest people working for them and going into people's homes? It is extremely negligent on their part. Worst of all, I'm sure that, given the opportunity, those men will do it again.
