Big Time Rip Off

I am an 18 yr old college student who was looking for a way to make money on the side i have lookd all over the internt for way to make extra cash... I recived a letter in the mail one day saying that il get anywhere from $5.00-$15.00 to staple booklets together and that you can make abetween $500.00-$2500.00 in one week sounds too good to be true right well i was about to throw the letter away when i stumbled on a paragraph that stated "Payments for all compleated booklets are sent to you befoure you are required to ship them in"
It also stated that "If you are not makeinganymoney after 90 days, just return your instruction manual for a full refund and $30.00 for just trying the program"
So i sent in $39.00 Refundable deposit Plus an extra $3 to ship with in 7 days
So now its been 2 a half weeks and still no matirils or anything it was too good to be true so now $42 down the drain
