After some searching I found Whelen Engineering Company Inc. (actually I think I asked about this on the Forum years ago and some one recommended them too),? They seem to be on the top of the heap for public safety vehicle lighting. They had a few Items that I liked; the Strip-Lite Super-LED and TIR3 & LIN3 Series Super-LED. I ended up purchasing a TIR3 in red and mounting it below my trunk, just above the stock tail light. I went with the TIR3 because it was the most compact and is not too noticeable. I ordered it from http://www.strobesnmore.com / they took almost a week to ship and they never told me why (back-ordered, etc.) but it did show up, so I would rate them as acceptable. They have a number of other lights that could be used as well.
