Corruption, Bullying and Harassment is widespread in Fresno County's Department of Social Services and other County Departments. The Department is run like a fascist dictatorship with cut-throat people on the top, kicking down and promoting their pets who are basically corporate whores. Contracts are gained fraudulently while subordinates are told to look the other way or lose their job. Managers pass the buck and blame everyone but themselves when things go wrong, which is frequently. Working for the County is a pain because of the evil, intolerant, backstabbing atmosphere. You have to put up, suck up, or leave. It is like a medieval work environment. I've seen them harass workers until they quit in shame. They usually highlight the negative issues and overlook all the positive issues in order to make employees look like bad on their evaluations.
