Sun Lakes Phase I - HOA
Clint warell, gm hoa fees - all monthly payments accepted - gm filed a lien against my home!

To All Sun Lakes Residents:

I have been humiliated and disrespected by the very community leaders that I help elect to Phase I, that I expected would protect me and my property. When, my now deceased, husband and I decided to stay in Sun Lakes, we had several selections of phases. We owned a home in another phase, but, we liked Phase I and its friendly environment. We sold the other property and bought in Sun Lakes.

After my husband died, financial and physically things for me got very bad. I was able to maintain the full payment of the HOA fees and the taxes until this past year. Then I could not pay it. So, I immediately contacted the HOA department and made arrangements to make $50 to $100 per month payments. And, I have and still are.

I received a letter from Clint Warnell the GM, that he was placing a lien on my home if I did not pay the entire amount of approximately $1200.By October 4th. I called the same HOA people again, and they stated that as long as I continued to make those payments, they would not put a lien on my home.

WELL, they lied! I just got the notice, today, of the lien. I am very upset and very angry! And, contacting an attorney will not help! They want over $5k just to look at you. I don't have that kind of money.

I really don't know what to do now. I am so hurt by HOA and its staff. I thought I had a wonderful relationship with all of them. I have been in some of their homes, and for many years, I have sat at the same dinner table and laughed and talked with them.

This behavior on the part of the HOA GM is disgraceful on any level, it is especially so to a widow!

Exodus 22:22-24 - 'You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me (GOD), I will surely hear their cry, and my wrath will burn...'
