Aurora Police Dept
Officer gave personal cell number to a suspect

Politics & Government

I work at Ombudsman and we had called the police to file a weapons report. The officers asked for my name and number and I did give it to them. About 30 minutes later I recieved a voicemail from the mother of the suspect on my personal cell phone. My name and number should have never been given out and I had to spend hours changing my number and I am concerned for my safety. This is totally inappropriate and should have never happened. I expect a full investigation into this matter.
