Destroyed a Family

I had an abusive, financially crazy ex-husband who owed lots of money to the IRS. He had submitted sales agreements for 6 or 7 houses and pulled out of them at the last mnute and did things to screw up my credit. I had 6 children, 2 from him and 4 from my 1st husband. You also need to know he is very very good at lying and manipulation. After I seperated from him and got my life back together and got a job, I bought a house. The kids were a mess from all the craziness and instability and were happy to have a home. Shortly thereafter he filed to modify the child support. He knew that I couldn't afford to lose too much money or I would lose the house. If he had only taken $500 a month we would have been OK. He ended up taking away $1500 per month and the Chester County Domestic Relations let him! This is a man who was already making $100,000 a year! Not only that but contrary to their own laws they backdated the modification for a year and gave HIM a $19,000 credit!!! I was struggling to raise these kids on my own and they illegally gave him this money. Needless to say after a two year long struggle I had to short-sell the house and my credit was ruined and has not recovered since. The children were devestated as was I.
