Summerset at Frick Park Lied and charged me two weeks of extra rent

I have a six month lease with Penrose Management at Summerset at Frick Park. When I signed the lease I was not sure when we were going to leave so I specifically asked what I needed to do at the end of my lease. The manager said to come and talk with him in December (my lease was suppossed to end December 20th). So on November 2nd I went into the leasing office. There was a new manager, Dawn, and she told me that I needed to give a 60 day notice of vacating. I was currently at only 45 days. I explained that the previous manager had told me to come in December to do everything and by that I was early. She said not to worry about it. She issued me a letter on November 25th saying that she had recieved our notice to vacate and the lease end date was December 20th. I called on November 30th to see how much I owed for the pro-rated amount and she then said that I had to pay until January 1st because of the sixty day rule. She then told me she isn't allowed to make any decisions and that I would have to talk to corporate headquarters in Philadelphia. So I called and spoke with Mike Peton. He told me to not pay rent until he calls me back. He said that he would call me on Wednesday December 2. We have left him multiple voicemails and emails and he will NOT return any of our calls. The company told us twice and even issued a letter saying that we could close our lease on time. No one will return our calls and no one will be accountable. The bottom line is they just want more money.
