3yrs of Harrasment over wrong phone numbe

3 yrs ago when I first got this phone number i started getting calls for a "Gloria Steed or Speed"? I have no clue who this person is other than I must have gotten her old phone number when I received my phone number from the phone company.

Usually Im polite and answer or return the call (especially to debt collectors) saying - "you have the wrong number"

This Company calls constantly for a month or so every 3-4 months for the past 3 yrs!
At first I called them back and explained it's a wrong number. They always say "OK we'll take it out of the system" but the never do. Whenever the calls opts for a "if this is NOT Gloria Speed press..." I Do, with no resolution.

Today 11/16/09 - The calls started again.
I was hung up on at least 5-6 times trying to explain I was not the person they wanted.
They have an automated system that says "if this is the wrong, press 8" this time I did - and all it does is return the call. Then when they answer they say. "uggh yea that feature is broken?" I tried to tell them that they have been harassing me now for over 3yrs, and I've had enough - I'm filing reports, contacting my congressman, and if they call me again retaining an attorney."

Spoke to several different people, all of which hung up on me almost instantly.
One guy said I was "crazy cuz they havent been in business that long." Another said "OK we'll take you out of the system".. Which then lead to "that's what you say every couple months" and again hung up on. One guy told me.."Write your congressman? Over a debt collection? Do you know how retarded that sounds?" and then told me that I would be the one contacted by the authorities for calling them"?!?

They denied me any company information - another phone number, any supervisor contact, an address or full company name when I asked.

not everyone would tell me their name

I happen to find their information when I searched CPC and found this site and its reports on this company already in exsistance.
The phone numbers match exactly. That's how I have the full company name and address.
