Marcus Decamillo DEC Custom Contruction
Stole thousands of dollars and left my house unllivable

Marcus Decamillo of DEC custom contruction or decamillo masonary or Decamillo waterproofing or whatever other company names he may go by is an scam artist. He has stolen tens of thousands of dollars from many many people. He was recommended to me by his friend who just happened to work for our mortgage company, Wells Fargo.

We hired him to do a total reconstruction project on our new home. TImes were crazy with a new baby who was premature and sick as well as a house in need of major work. Marcus decided to take advantage of this and signed on to do our contruction. I checked references and did my doo dilligence but he is a good scam artist. He started work on my house and did moderatly well in the very begining but soon we were in trouble.

He was rarely here and the work was not great but of course since he started several projects at once it took a while to see any completed work and realize it was so bad. Ultametly our mortgage company sent him another check and he was never seen again. I spent thousands repairing the horrible work he did.

For example, he put in new laminent flooring but did bother to pull all the tile up that was underneath it. The floors all started coming up within months and needed replaced. Also he did such a bad job putting in doors that it was actually snowing my my house through gaps in the seeems. Truly undescribable. Please avoid him at all costs.

He is charming and has an excuse for everything and if you read this and ask him about it he will be sure to have an excuse about it as he always has one when i questioned him. For the sake of yourself and your bank account stay far away. I have talked to over 10 people who have been ripped off by him. He is nothing but bad news.
