Sienna Pointe Vizslas/Cathy Gallagher Vizsla Family Members are NOT Part-Time

We are now on our 4th Vizsla. I guess I can say that over the last 25 years, I've experienced several personalities of Vizslas by observing my own, babysitting others, and visiting others. To sum it up, ALL Vizslas are sensitive, caring, loving, and definitely family members. Through stress, health issues, emotional times, what helped get our family through troubled times, were our dogs. They were always there to greet us, always there to cry with, always there to snuggle with. They were even content to lay at our feet, only to be near us, to comfort us, to do what it was we wanted them to do. They say Vizslas are hyper, but I've seen them again and again, to resonate to the family member's emotions, energies, voice. When you need them to lay calmly at your feet, they do. When you announce you are going on a walk or to Cathy Gallagher's house, they are beside themselves with excitement.

This is a sensitive breed that needs consistency, love, snuggling, and most of all, security. This security is gotten when treated with and respected as a family member, not as a commadity. They need consistancy, just as children do. Anything less would be considered ABUSE.
Please do not even think about getting ANY pet until the whole family is ready, commited whole heartedly, and promises to make it a success thru thick and thin, thru sickness and in health.

Steve, please take care of your family, they need you. Rally will be fine. He will end up where he is destined to be.
