Incomplete road work On Donald Ross Road going East. Manhole cover too high causing to slit two tires on my car costing me $2641 to repair. They have ignored my attempts to resolve this with them

I exited I-95 N going East on Wednesday Feb 25th about 3Pm. I was in the southern most lane. The road was unfinished (it is usually blocked off with cones). I drove off a Manhole cover which was too high since the road was not paved. This caused the two driver side tires to get split. I heard a terrible noise and then I knew something was very wrong. I managed to drive the car as far as the Shell Station on Donald Ross Road and Central. I called AAA around 3:15pm. Pete from AAA came around 3:45PM. He told me that two of my tires were flat. I had several conservations with Tire Kingdom and Palm Beach Motor Cars. TK didn't have the tires I needed and it would take several days to find. PBMC did have the tires, but since the car didn't get picked up for two hours, I needed rental car.

I discovered that H&J Contracting did the work on Donald Ross Road.

Judith Clixby called and spoke with Mr. Fred Falkin on Thursday Febuary 26th who promised to handle this bill and he was to call me at 3pm. I didn't receive any call back even though I attempted to call him twice (once on Thursday and once on Friday).

I am going to develop the picures as proof on my injury to my car. H&J contracting can verify with AAA regarding my location of the car when it was picked up. My cost was $2641

I sent an email to the president and a fax to the office requesting resolution before I went up to Tallahassee on Tuesday March 3. Since I didn't hear back from anyone, I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office.

I wonder how many other people suffered damage to their car on that very same road?
