Countrywide doesn't want to help people in foreclousure anywhere even with government intervention

I first became a customer of Countrywide in 2006. At first I thought they were a good company. That all changed in Dec. Of 2007 when my mom passed away. I called them asking for help they said that they could not do anything that I should wait till I receive my act 91 notice. So I did just that during my meeting with the counseling agency I found that none of the documents given to me by Countrywide were signed. I contacted Countrywide and were told that I would have them in 7 to10 days. I never received them. That was just the beginning of a year of HELL.

I came to find out that Countrywide had changed all of the agreements I had made with them in 2006. Frst I found out that the principal jumped from $67,700 to $87,7000 that was without taking any money out. They also changed my one year interest only mortgage to ten years without my permission. Than I find out that they never sent any of the documents I requested for my Hemap. That caused me to have to file an appeal 3 times. I never did get any help so In May I filed a complaint with the Pa Attorney Generals office.

In January Countrywide settled with many states accross the country. But none of this matters to them because they are not following any of the guidlines set forth to help homeowners. They are still foreclosing on people. They don't care about helping anyone. I was told by a customer service supervisor that people in my position they don't care about helping because they get their money no matter what. I think all Countrywide costomers should get together and file a lawsuite. There has to be someone willing to take on these monsters. They should not be aloud to get away with doing things like this to people. Isn. T there someone out there like Erin Brokovich that is willing to step up and help us out. We just want justice.

This bank should not be in business any longer. I think Bank of America is stupid for helping them out. Don't they relize the mess they have acquired. I hope someone out there will help us out soon.
