Coniving realtor? Sends teenager to buy me out of my house

Politics & Government

Before I start my story, let me give you some background. Like many americas today, I've have been struggling with keeping my house. My house currently in the foreclosure process, but still mine, and there might still be some hope. My house was auctioned three days ago on Feb. 11. As I'm sure many of you know, even after that, there are many programs that can help you, and the house is technically still yours for six months. There's my situation... Here's the story...

Last night as I was watching TV in the house that I own... I was rudely interupted with a door knock. Standing outside my door was a kid maybe sixteen or seventeen. Holding in his hand was only a business card of his boss? The child informed me I had to move out of my house, and his boss wanted to talk to me about about it. So he hands me the phone as I am imaginably already outraged and confused. His boss tries to tell me he's working with my bank and they want to help me move out of my house and pay me whatever the costs of moving and finding a new place to live would be. I try to ask him who my bank is, and he comes up with FannieMae, which is not true in any way.

This is when I inform him, that he is lying to me and can talk to my attourney. He says that he is working with the city and has all the information correct. Which it may be true that he was working with the cities web page to find me as a target, but completely untrue because the city deals with taxes and property deeds not forclosures. It is the Circuit court of the county that deals with foreclosures and Sheriff Auctions.

I explained to him as calmly as possible that even after an auction there is a six month period to try to relinquish my household, and one month after that to vacate. He sounded very confused by this and obviously has no clue about the law.

At this point I informed him my attourney would be contacting him, hung up the phone and gave the phone back to the frightened child who almost took the brunt of my anger.

Clearly this so called realtor, from a company I have never heard of and who has a web page with a domain name that is owned by 'go daddy', which is just full of links to other companies is just out looking through city websites to find people who are at tough spot in their life. This kind of person is a scammer, scum, and I'm not sure if I can post what else I think about him.

Do not by any means deal with or fall for this scam. A teenager with a business card and no court papers should be your first clue.

I'm currently in the process of reporting fraud to the state of Michigan about this and if this has happened to you to, I pray you didn't fall for it. Let me know what you think or if this has happened to you... And by no means ever deal with David Pena, or homes28!
