This is a long story so here it goes. And it starts with the first day on June 16. After having so many odd jobs and not making any money and no stability. I decided to look in the houston greensheet.

I came across an ad saying. Office help needed no experience needed with a number. So i immediately called and got an answering machine type where they said if your calling about the ad please leave you name and number. So i did. And with in an hour that same day got a call back from a man named brian. I was unable to answer my phone when he did call back. But he left his name and number where he could be reached. So i called back. Asked to speak to brian. He was very friendly, very laid back and could tell by some of the words he used he was fairly young. I felt very comfortable right away talking with him which is unusual for me. Because when it comes to meeting or talking to new people im awkward and quiet. So he asked me if i was able to come in for an interview. I asked what exactly is the position. And he said "oh were just looking for a few people to train for a management position". I said well ok. What time should i be there? 3:30. I said ok great so you then.

As 3:30 rolled around i made my way over there. Which by the way is in a bussiness industrial type area. And actually when i arrived at the address i realized i had been here before 6 months ago to apply at the company that is in the same buliding. When i got there i was suprised to see about 20 women in the same office all dressed to impress with note books in there hands. And when i called he had said dress to impress and dont forget to bring a note book and pen. Also the radio was on preety loud unusually loud for an office atmosphere. Which i thought was kind weird but went along with it any way. Thinking hmm preety comfortalbe. So evey one was standing around there was maybe about 3 chairs and music playing. A little desk and nothing on the walls. I thought to my self they probably just havent settled in yet. Also forgetting to add. When we walked into the door they had us sign in and fill out a sheet. Name, address, ss, our confidence level from 1-10 and people skills 1-10. Of course i rated my self a 10 on both. Showing them i was a very confident and had great people skills.

This is a very long story. Basically i ended up going through the same process as some else did on here. With the same related company. Scentura creations.
Everything from the first time calling for an interview. Going to the first interview being told this was an entry level management position 30,000 a year. 576.96 a week. She was so energetic and threw everything at me all at once by the end all i heard was 30k and i was in i didnt care what the position was and what i had to do. I was just so nieve and money hungry. That i was blinded by the whole thing!

By the second interview which she (sierra) did mention. Was a 3-4 hour meeting with our note book and pens.in this meeting they (betty) went over things like our 6-8 week training and how if we completed training successfully we were handed keys to an office at any location you wanted. As a branch manager 576.96 a week. And 30k a year. Sounds damn good? Huh. Yes too good to be true as a matter of fact! Also went over benefits, paid vacations. Everything just sounded so good i ate it all up.

The third interview was a 3 hour meeting. Oh and training started
at 8:45 am-around 5:30 pm. So there was no way i would be able to keep any other job. That same day around 11 is when we actually went " on the field" to sell our merch. They would have these contest. Where who sold the most would be rewarded with something. Whether it was money. Or a night out to eat with them. And when we did sell something. Our trainer would call in. And i was one of the first to sell something the first day and when i got back recieved $20

After that day i didnt go back in the morning. But i did call in to talk to sierra around 5:30 asked her if i could talk to her in person. Basically the whole purpose of that was to ask her 2 questions. One since i didnt come in the morning can i come back. And she said yes. And 2 how are we going to get paid? She tells me well we had a 3 hour meeting about that this morning but you missed it. At this point im feeling dumb. Because i should've come in. But thinking back why would it take a 3 hour meeting to explain to us how we are going to get paid? Should be short and simple. But stupid and nieve i believed her. I also came in to talk to her about my situation. Im 19 years old i live on my own i have no kids. Do have a hs. Diploma but no college degree. Just going from one job to the next. I thought this was goingt to be my ticket to a new car, new apt and deff some stability. Because right now im struggling. And as im telling sierra my situation she tells me i will help you. We will help you. Very serious. Very compasionate and understanding. I felt relieved. We start to figure out what i will have to make a day in order to pay bills. For her to sit there and look at me dead in the eyes and tells me they will help me. And then come to find out it was all a lie! All fake. You could only imagine what i felt after learning this is what they do to people. Nothing but a scam!

I ended up going back in the morning. Oh by this time i noticed a big decrease in people. From the first day to the day i came back. Started with about 25-30 women. Mostly women by the 3rd day there were about 6 left including me. As we were out soliciting to bussiness. We went into a restuarant. And a women came out telling us you guys cant sell to our customers but you can to our employees. So i came across these 2 waiters one of them asked me. What are you doing this for? I said well and before i even finished he knew what i was going to say telling me they told you if you completed the training you would become a branch manager? I said yes that is exactly why im doing this. Basically he said this is bs. Its a scam. You guys are there dummies promoting there product. And they benefit from it not you and the management position never happens. I was crushed but reassured that i knew this was too good to be true.
I finally had access to the internet and found this. Someone else who went through the same situation.

I decided i would print out what i read. And show it to them. And demanded some answers which i didnt not get. The next mornning i showed up and turned in the box of perfumes they had given me. Asked to speak to sierra. But she was no where to be found. I left with nothing. And now knowing what i know im worried as to where my information went? I feel very taken advantage of and lied to. Now i dont know what to do? Because it is not fair for them to get away with something like this. Seeing how they do have my personal info such as. My social security, address, phone number. And just by having someones ss can do a lot of damage. Can some one please help me with this situation?!!
