On October 16th I bid on a 60" projection TV at Sams Club.com and won. I paid by credit card which was charged immediatly. Ten days later the TV was delivered badly damaged. The Betlman delivery man told me it would be better to accept the package I would get a refund a lot faster if I did. (I have a witness).
I immediatly called Sams Club and reported my TV damaged while the truck driver was standing there, and was informed a refund had been issued. After 30 days (November 16th) of arguing with Sams Club about picking up the TV and getting a refund, they informed me the Beltman Group had been issued a pickup on Nov 11th and until they picked up the TV and gave me a tracking number I couldn't get my money back.
I called the Beltman Group and they confirmed they had a pick-up order and we set it up for November 30. I took off work and waited until 1pm, no word from Beltman. I called them, well they were running behind and wouldn't be there until late afternoon (I have a witness). I waited all day on them, they did not show up. No phone call no nothing.
Today is December 1 and I still have a TV that cost me over $1000 and won't even turn on. It has two holes in it where it was dropped or something was dropped on it and the screen is warped.
I understand that Sam's Club probably didn't damage the TV but why won't they help me? If they deal with people like the Beltman Group and know the problems I'm having, why would I ever want to shop there again? Do they care? It's Christmas and I don't have a TV or my money. You haven't hear the last from me Sams Club or Beltman Group!
