Bad traffic control

There's a traffic-control lighting at veterans funeral and hwy 249 in houston tx. This can be a six-lane hwy traveling east and west along with a two-lane road with left-turn lanes traveling north and south. The issue that we have documented towards the dot is the fact that I'm a disabled veteran and senior who are able to not mix the intersection prior to the lighting modifications from green to reddish. The full time for that lighting to period from green to red is roughly (7) moments and vehicles are shifting before I will clear the intersection. If anything isn't completed to fix the timer only at that intersection somebody might be hit by a vehicle or perhaps a deadly incident will happen. Please somebody assist with this specific issue when I have obtained no aid from Texas Department of Transport.
