Exceeded passport turn-around time

I requested a passport in middle-Feb, nowadays is May 7th, and that I still have not obtained it. I tried calling the 1877 quantity on the site (virtually the only path to have ahold of somebody) 14 days before my holiday (as directed), and after 3 times of 2 hours waiting about the telephone, I however can't-get ahold of anybody. Therefore, I Have shipped off my evidence of citizenship (my birth certificate), I've no passport, and my holiday is in 6 times. I realize that it is the summer months, which these specific things have to be prepared forward, but I adopted THEIR time-tables, and that I've significantly exceeded their turn around situations. Today, I am with no passport. When the government will apply new guidelines, they have to prepare in advance, employ more individuals, and become ready to deal with the quantity of passport demands.
