Is a dishonest politically corrupt ripoff that tricked and lied to citizens. Zero accountability

The purpose of the Virginia Employment Comission is NOT to aid displaced workers, but to collect taxes and then ensure that at least 90% of those taxes are spent on VEC Employee salaries.

These people will (1) fill your paperwork out wrong, OR (2) if YOU fill it out correctly, they will change it, or (3) if they contact your previous employer to verify your claim, they will manufacture any excuse to deny a claim, AND (4) they will never contact you for further information, AND (5) will never contact you with a problem, AND (6) will always give you a dishonest or at least knowingly incorrect or misleading answer to any question you pose, AND (7) will only deal with you in person, ignoring any phone call you place (even to the point of just hanging up on you!), AND (8) will let you sit in line waiting for 7 hours without any screening process whatsoever, so that the 10 minutes of their time that you need costs you the entire day, AND (9) will do all this with a codescending manner, as if you WANTED to be unemployed, as if you are bothering them while they try to WORK!

These people have ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY!!! If you complain, it just delays your checks... OOPS! Some bizarre, unexplainable computer error zapped your last 5 weeks of data, Mr. So-and-So... You'll have to come back in to the office and RE-OPEN YOUR CLAIM... Then wait another 3 weeks for your checks to resume. Thanks to Rep. Frank Wolf's intervention, I had this EXACT problem!!!

If you want any sort of review or hearing, you can't get it scheduled THIS month... Or next month, for that matter. Why? We don't know, that's just the way it is with (insert false statement of explanation here)...

Look in the Virginia Administrative Code dealing with the Department of LAbor and/or VEC... Title 16, Agency 5, Section 10 of both Chapters 30 and 40... THIS is where the Law should spell out proper procedure and process, and outline a taxpayer's rights to dispute... Both sections are repealed!!! E.G. There IS no Law governing what is and is not a fair way to treat a claimant!!!

Search the entirety of Title 16... SEE if there is even ONE STATEMENT with respect to timliness (as if the Unemployed don't need money fast, we all of course have Trust Funds!!!)...

And try to find anyone in Richmond to complain to — they will NEVER call you back. I expect you have to show up THERE in person to get any help!
