Power outages

We just ha significant winter storm in the Dallas Fort Worth area and I am currently at hour 19 without power. The temperature is 7 degrees right now at 1135 pm and expected to drop to or below zero. There’s no way to get a hold of anyone at oncor, the news is reporting that ERCOT ordered Oncor to cut power to certain homes and businesses to reduce the strain on Texas’ electric grid by rolling blackouts. Which I agree that makes perfect sense to avoid a massive blackout throughout a larger portion of Texas. My complaint is I report my outage to Oncor I get a notice that the so called rolling blackout is supposed to only be an hour. Again this is the 19th hour. I then get a notice the power will be on by 9pm it’s now 1147pm no power. I look on the Oncor app it shows my power outage has been resolved. This isn’t in any way a rolling blackout, they knew all along this outage was going to be significantly longer than a hour and not only that who gave these people the authority and power to put peoples lives in danger with temperatures near zero in the first place. Oncor, ERCOT and the State of Texas don’t have the right to choose certain people to suffer while the majority gets hot water hot food and a heat. What happened to the rolling blackout? Wouldn’t that help more so certain people aren’t without power for a long stretch of time. I hope when this is all over with Oncor and ERCOT are investigated as to why my area was chosen to suffer and I hope the people that made that decision face criminal charges. I hope no one dies because of this.
