A Message from God by Retha McPherson
Race Identification: A Horrific and Hurtful Shame, Hartebeespoo

Retha Mcpherson, former Miss South Africa 2004 and one who happens also to be the founder of Retha McPherson Ministries that is located in South Africa asked for a review of her book named "A Message from God" and so here now is a review. What seems to be an absolute disgrace and a horrific and insulting shame in the book was the issue of race identification that kept cropping up in the book. For example:

On page 13 of the book in the chapter entitled "Part 1 Our Story" Retha Mcpherson states this and I quote:

"God gave us a prophetic promise through a black man"

Then on page 21 in the chapter entitled "Living the Dream" Retha Mcpherson also states this in relation to an accident that she mentions in the book and again I quote:

"a black man got out quickly.
