Between 11/29 and 12/3, I've spoken to Dwight Johnson, Jose Sanders, Jason McCoy, Kevin Lee, Samuel Thompson, and these men have nearly the same voice and thick heavy, possibly of Indian decent, accent. They called me offering a loan of $2000. I has to go to Walgreens to get a Green Dot prepaid card. They were out. I was told to go to WalMart to get two Walmart Money Cards with $40 loaded on each to activate the cards. I questioned them and Walmart associates and they concurred. I purchased them with the notion the loan would be up loaded on them. I called, 803-883-3189, them back, gave them my card info (MISTAKE), and they said they would call me back with the PIN number to access each card with in one hour.in one hour, I was called and told I had to put $140 on a Green Dot Money Pack to pay Green Dot fees to activate the loan through them. Again, I went back to Walmart, questioned it, it matched, and I reluctantly purchased the money pack. Called 803-883-3189 again, gave info (MISTAKE), and was told to wait one hour. I was called back 50 minutes later and was told my loan was funded. I went to several ATMs and the cards didn't work and it was insufficient funds when I tried to withdraw my funds. I called again the next day and was told I had to send them a second green dot money back for $180. Of course, by this point I was on to them and refused to give them another penny. I demanded a refund of what they've taken from me. Over 5 hours of conversation with them I have been called a bad customers, stupid woman, stupid b*tch, woman with no brain upstairs. Yet, they still call me demanding that I make the deposit to them immediately and call them back.
I've made complaints to the Walmart store I've dealt with, green dot, green dot money paks, Walmart money cards, local police, federal investigations, federal trade commission, and my state attorney generals offices, where fraud complaints have been started. Through guidance I've continued conversations with these scammers to get as much info from them as possible that will help unveil their identity, locations, and methods for their scam. They admitted to taking my funds and changed the amount of the money pack to $100 on a 3rd Walmart money card with $30 on it. They also run underneath the names of other businesses and I can hear background conversations where this same garbage is being pitched to other scammers. Be careful!!!
