I am an independent Avon Rep and was contacted by Monica Valencia from my website. She wanted to order product from me and included what she wanted to order and the quantity of each item. After I sent her a total almost $165, she sent me another email wanting my full name, address and phone number so that she could have someone send me a check/money order for the amount. She said she is unable to pay online. I found this odd because my name and phone number are right on my site, and you are able to order and pay directly from the site. I called my District Manager who informed me of an overpayment check cashing scam which I found by searching "avon scam" on google. I have received another email with the same requests from a John Davis claiming to work for a non existing company called Savenn Pro Modeling Agency who also claimed he could not pay online.
