We received a text saying we won a 1000 dollar target gift card, we remember entering a code from a target shopping receipt about a month ago for a 1000 gift card so we thought it was real. We went online and filled out the information they requested which includes name, address, date of birth, and phone number but then I googled target gift card scam and everything came up. Apparently It's a scam. What can I do? Is that information enough to get me in trouble? Can they steal my identity or do something of the sort? Thank you!
