I signed up for a shopping site and was told that I would get 90,000 hits and would receive commissions from various companies when people bought their products. I also was told that there would be 90 some stores on my shopping site. I advertised the site to my friends and family and they bought products from amazon.com and other retailers. I also bought items including airline tickets. I never received a penny in commissions even though there were dollars spent. For months I was in contact with a person named Nicole Hopewood who kept telling me that she was having a problem getting me set up with Google
Adwords and that is why my web site was not producing commissions. Everytime I called, I got the same message that everyone was busy with other callers and leave a message. Nicole did call me several times and when I happen to pick up, she would continue to tell me that she was working on getting my web site functional but I see now that that was just a continual put off. Nothing ever was accomplished. I did ask to talk to someone above her in the company but that never happened. I have tried to find another way to contact the company but all I get is the above message and now, Nicole, does not even make a weak effort to reach me. One year has gone by and now my web site has been pulled. As far as I am concerned they are in breach of the contract that I signed, since I have never received money from my site. Other than writing this complaint, is there anything else we can do?
