I received a text message at 2:36 A.M. On November 20, to advise me that I had won a $1,000 (one thousand dollar) gift card from Target. It was frightening to be awoken at that time of the morning. I never entered a contest from Target, though I often shop at Target, I don't believe that Target would contact me at that time of the morning and feel that this was a scam.
