Received text msg at 2:45 AM, same as everyone else, "Your entry last month has WON, etc..." It's a scam & nothing to do with Target. They're just a popular store and the scammers are hoping it's good bait.

I already blocked all short code messages to my phone - which took care of the Bank of America text scam. Basically they forward a message from a phone # using a short code (all you see is the "original" phone #, not the forward). You can block phone #'s all day and they keep sending you texts. I'm wondering if they've resorted to using actual #'s or if there's a new end-around tactic.
