Miscellaneous

A call came in regarding winning something through AIRMILES... Which linked me to speaking with a rep from Goldball Group. They said I "won" a vacation package.in order to take advantage of the deal, I was scammed into providing my credit card number to hold my "winnings" until I could speak to my husband. This company sells vacation packages as it turns out. I did not accept this package. Even so they charged $207.07 on my Mastercard on August 7. I contacted MC and they didn't offer any assistance. I then sent two registered mail letters out to Lisa Schmidt of Gold Ball Group in Benito Juarez, Quintana Roo, Mexico and a copy of that letter to the Head Office of Karisma Hotels in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. Both letters came back as being unclaimed. I then had two more charges of $508.56 on August 20th and $101.19 September 5th! When I received my statement I immediately phoned MasterCard as I was angry that they would allow further charges to go through when I specifically told them these are unauthorized.
I have emailed the contact, Lisa Schmidt, and requested further information. I have not received complete details nor any way to redeem this package or sell the package. I have received no further replies to any of my inquiry.
Yet I have a total of $880.53 outstanding charges including interest and my cost to send two registered letters.
