Ripoff

I was taken for 39,400.00. I contacted Debbie Mattes at 202-326-2047. She works with the FTC and seems to have more time to discuss the situation than Gerald Wald or his assistant Linda Mahal.in fact, they haven't returned my call. It has been over a week since I left a message. I have had two lenghtly conversations with Debbie in that time.

It doesn't look promising, I'm sorry to say. This could take a while, and the amount of assets have not been disclosed. Obviously, there were some more fraudulant characters behind this scam, not only the people whose names we were provided with. The brains behind this have had these troubles before. They are very smart and have probably hidden assets very well.

I am still concerned that the FTC did not let me know that this company was under investigation at the time I inquired about them. I also am quite perturbed with the Better Business Bureau of Florida. They endorsed them as well. I am speaking with an attorney regarding a class action suit against the FTC for misleading information. The FTC told me we would not be able to go after these guys individually until they completed their suit.

My attorney said this is false information, but that I would stand a better chance of some sort of recovery if I stayed with the other victims. Please continue to post any information that you may have. It is helpful. Everyone needs to file a complaint with the FTC (FTC. Gov). They have the business lists of the criminals, but file to make sure you are on the list.
