When a government ID worth nothing over a State ID

Miscellaneous

To whom this may concern,

I am in the Army and also a green card holder; therefore, I have a government ID. I went to the HEB store #05/031 in 12860 Research Blvd in Austin Texas and I was denied to pick up a transfer my father made for me. The Western Union lady who works in customer service said and supposedly the manager, told me I needed a State ID which I do not have. The agent name is: Annette and the ID is 116. They both stated: "It is illegal" and then when I called Western Union. The lady told me now that is HEB policy.

So, now I am left without options but complain. This is a shame and I would like this so called HEB policy to be corrected. It prevented me from getting the money I needed to buy some medications after surgery-gallbladder removal, and instead of resting and making it easy on the customer they refused to call Western Union to verify if by mistake well this can be possible. SO A STATE ID AND NO A GOVERNMENT ID IS LONGER ACCEPTED TO PICK UP A WESTERN UNION??? I think that is illegal and discrimination.

So, I am looking forward for a response. I am proud to serve this country but things like this should be corrected and zero tolerance to discrimination...

Western Union
Located in County Market Store #244 This Western Union location did NOT honor the policy of Western Union. This location would only give the receiver $500 per day. The policy stated by Western Union is that they give $1000 per day. T
