Scammed me!

I recieved the letter just like everyone else. I waited to send mine off because my fience didn't want to get a credit card. Well, after Christmas I sent it off with the 39.00 fee to get the card. Shortly after I mailed off for the card I found out I was pregnant, so we were going to use the card to get ready for the baby. No I have no card, and am going to have trouble getting things that my unborn child needs when he/she is born.
How can a people do such a thing to other people... Even after light of recent events when times are rough on people. Everyday people struggle to live day by day. I am one of these people, now faced to struggle even harder. Please if anyone can help... Please help.
