Truck rented then stolen. Followed instructions given by U-Haul agent. Filed police report allowed truck to be returned and contents put into U-Haul storage even though reported stolen. Did contact contract holder but put blame on self. One month later received collection notice for amount. Was told to find person who stole truck and file a civil suit How rediculous is this. Have received 4calls concerning storage fees and other charges. If insured what's the issue. Gave U-Haul all information. They don't care what happened just coming after me since it's convenient for them. Stolen is stolen whether I rented truck or not. It took one week to find out truck was recovered.informed by police not U-Haul. If it taken without consent that's theft and company insurance should cover such.instead I being ridiculed for trying to help someone who appeared to need help note avoid uhaul if at all possible
