Rip-off!

I had been named with a "haitian-appearing" guy, who stated his title was Mel Cooper by having an identification number of 0492. I had been educated that I'd been authorized to get a National Offer for $8,000 and all I had a need to do was to verify some info. The info requested for was title, tackle, telephone number. He then said I'd link to a different individual whom I'd have to provide a confimation number to. I established his info.

He then asked for my bank name. I questioned why he required my lender title in order for them to deliver me a check. Their solution was he did not understand, it had been simply area of the guidelines. I humored him with "a" lender title and tackle, but informed him on no account was I likely to provide him my bill amount within the telephone. Then he offered me the routing quantity of the financial institution. Then he discussed the offer even more and lastly stated, today I simply require the "figures following the figures he'd established that look on my checkbook". I told him, pardon me, but I previously informed you that I had been not providing you with my account number. Why have you been requesting it today? I had been nearly "lower in tone" as he'd assured me that I'd not need to provide him these details.

After many efforts by him to obtain me to provide me the amount by stating this was genuine and secure, etc. He explained he'd deliver me info within the email. I expected him why I had beennot likely to keep in touch with the individual using the verification number and he explained that I really could just keep in touch with them after I offered him my account number. He never did say I had been likely to need to spend something, but I had been not going to provide him my quantity within the telephone.
