I checked my bank statement this morning and discovered that my account was less than it should be. Going through my statement I noticed that four payments were made to zinga.com totalling. £189.: 87 starting on the 4th October to the 24th October. I then rung the bank on finishing work, they were very helpful and gave the number of the company which I rang and was told that I had open an account with them and bought a speaker costing £2.99 and that I had to join a premium account to have this speaker, so apart from the £2.99 the rest of the money was to join this company. I have no reason to buy a speaker and I certainly would not join a company to get one. The operator told me that she could cancel my account but could only refund me £87.87. Because there would be a cancelation fee of £35.00 the rest of the money I could not have because it was the join up fee. I was also told that I did open the account because they had my home address and my email address. I don't understand what difference does that make, I feel cheated how can people do this, I haven't opened an account and I certainly do not want a speaker.
