The Sheriff's Dep. And Durango Jail
They treat inmates like they are not human

My Boyfriend of six years, also my son's father went into DURANGO Jail, For being one day late on his fine, He had a warrent for his arrest by the next day! He got picked up on that nexted day. He has been in there for three week's now, With no bail or bond.

I have been down there about ten times since then to one try to see him, and two I've tryed to put money on his book's. Every time I have been down there for one of the two they have been so rude, They talk to you like you are a pieace of shit and you are not humon! I wated there for seven hours one day just to tell me I could not visit him! Then when I was waiting out side for my ride I was sitting under a tree right where they drop the inmates off at durango.

There was a guy how was short and could not get out of the back of the truck fast enough the sheriff grab him by the neck and came close to hitting his fsce on the street! I had said something out loud so they could hear me on how they treat the inmate's he walked over to me and asked me if I could repeat what I said, I told him no so then he asked if I could give him my name or my I. D card and I told him I did not have it! But if I did what would he have done to me? It is freedom of speech I did not threet him at all.

Then on top of all this after not hearing from my boyfriend in three day I finally get a call from him to tell me he got jumped by eight black dudes over food! They are only getting feed once a day and by law it is at least twice! He got his nose broke and his eye had been gashed open He does not want to see the doctor because he will get jumped again! ~ I also have got to put money on thid guys book's 20.00 By the next day or he told me He will be hating life! The officer did not do anything about it! I really want sheriff joe out of top sheriff and let him spend a day in there and see how he like's it!
