A "Check Conversion Voucher" was presented to my bank in the amount of $29.95 on 10/15. I contacted the company at the number listed on the "check" and was told that it was payment for some kind of web subscription that I had purchased. The representative I spoke with could not or would not reveal what web site I had purchased a subscription to but assured me I would receive a refund in 3 to 10 days. I'm not holding my breath. Because the routing number and bank account number were on the check I closed my bank account so they could no longer access it.
