Nine $5 charges drained my account, leaving only $18.00

Today I went to my bank account to find out my balance. I was very surprised to find nine $5 charges from Facebook. I do not know if these charges are Facebook's way of getting extra money, hoping there would be no notice of them. Since they are for $5 at a time, they could easily go unnoticed on a larger account than mine. However, I am a single mother and have very little money. These charges have drained my account, and I now only have $18.00 left.

The option from my bank is to cancel my debit card and wait 5 days for a new one to arrive. I can dispute it with the bank, but that will not get me anywhere fast, and this money is vital to care for my child. This has put me in a huge bind. All the phone numbers associated with these transactions are disconnected, and the web address is no help. Facebook's answer in the help section was to go to the payment tab, and there is simply no such tab that I can find.

I am very frustrated. I did not want to use my debit card for anything. I did not even want a bank account. The bank manager assured me it was perfectly safe and I had no need to worry. I used to only pay cash; people do not know how to handle cash anymore. I got this stupid card to fit in, and fitting in is not working for me. I am reduced to tears today over this issue. The $45 is just the beginning.

I have nerve damage that acts up when I get upset. This is going to affect my body for days now. I have no idea if anyone will get back to me or how long this is going to take to get resolved. In the meantime, I have no money to purchase any needs that may arise. I am so angry, and they have no contact info available. It is hard to even type this.
