This was my first time applying for a online loan. But a situatation came about which left me short with my paycheck and still needed extra to pay bill, so i had been getting emails from this company advertising bad credit / no credit / short on cash type stuff so i went online applyed and got approved... It was a weekend so they could realease funds til monday... So the funds were posted in my account with no problem, clled in sept. 30 loan done on sept. 14, question bout how does the payment arangements work it ws explained that i was not do for repayment til oct. 15 n all i have to do is go online n set wat i want to pay which was the minium wait for approval which i did and was approved for october 15, got my first statement and email three days ago confirming this arrangemnt, til yesterday october 6 i get a call which i thought was a telemarketer which was actually that company calling telling me they have filed a case against me with criminal allegations an a list of other things and im like hold on whats going on. I spoke with a gentlemen by the name of Mr. Cooper who explain to me that THEY made a mistake on there end approving me, i have very bad credit n i have to pay the funds back immediatly or i will be issued a warrent for my arrest he will freeze my bank accounts and send the FBI to my job, i work for the state for 7 years, and i could not believe what i was hearing from this company. I felt i was being scammed and this was unreal. I ask him to repeat the name of his company again he says Cash America but i tell him i got approved throught Cashnet, USA... N he says we are all connected... N he will not ask for me to pay th whole amount bac i borrowed but half and i need to pay 100 at minium before money or i will b arrested... I feel this is a scam, he said that my loan as been closed i havnt recieve no paperwork email of this or tht they approved my loan by accident... Please explain to me what to do, i dont want to send money and not know if its goin to were this person telling me to send it and it dont... Dont do business with this people this could be u. There puting my job on the line. Loan amount was for 600.00 got approved for 700.00
