Maria Duval
Ripoff: Refuses to honor REFUND GUARANTEE Morrisotwn

Miscellaneous

I responded many months ago to an ad in the farmers Almanac offering free information about issues I was having. I thought why not, it was free, so I filled out the short questionairre. It said a long report would be sent (months later I am still waiting for that long report) but I have received many other offers for readings, talismen, pendants, and a 7-day seance.

Being in a horrible time in my life I responded to the seance, it was $30 and 100% refundable. I put it on my credit card feelign that would be the easiest form of payment to contest should this be a SCAM. I was 1/2 in mind it was a scam but thought I'd give it a try.

Nothing happened. I was to receive simple instructions before my first date (7 dates and times I picked). After the dates passed and I received no instructions I got a letter for other crap. I wrote to her as stated in the GUARANTEE and a week later got a letter stating she didn't have time to get the instructions out before my first selected date so she had taken it upon herself to set up days and times and assumed this would be OK with me. Well, if she truly was psychic she would have known weekend dates were not OK ~ any layman could have looked at my first dates and realized that weekends were out of the question. I got the instructions but it is too late.

For someone SO concerned about my well-being, focusing on so much urgency to my issues, how do you not have time in 30 days to send out a simple set of instructions for something SO important? My credit card company is disputing her charges, I have saved copies of everything, including my selected dates and her letter stating she didn't have time to meet my dates.

I know there are legitimate psychics out there and people like Maria just give all of them a bad rap! It's funny how the only newspaper clippings you can come across are not in English. Obviously she isn't so well thought of in English speaking countries!

Oh, by the way, on my credit card bill, she is listed as billing from Ireland.
