Timeshare Rental Scam

I purchased a timeshare from Villa Del Palmar, Flamingos in Nuevo Vallarta. I was "given" 4 bonus weeks at the time to convince me to purchase Holiday time at a higher price with higher maintenance fees. The Villa Del Palmar sales representative, Israel Villegas Garcia and Brian Heilig, sales manager, sold me on the idea that I should list my 4 bonus weeks with Regal Rental and I could be sure they would be rented within the next year.
What a joke and what a scam! I paid them $660.00 up front (shame on me!) and of course, each time I called to inquire if they were rented, I was brushed off with "Claire is not in", "rentals have been slow", or "they will call me as soon as one is rented". The last time I called to inquire was 9/28 and was told "they were down to a skeleton crew, my contract had expired, and they are not promoting my properties". Be sure not to be sucked in by this scam!
