Miscellaneous

CEO of Big Cat Rescue of Tampa is the leading suspect of the missing body of Jack Don Lewis, who was her husband and filed a protection order just two months prior to him being reported missing. Jack's children believe that Carole "Lewis" Baskin ground his body up and fed him to the tigers. A septic tank was installed on the property of Big Cat Rescue the day before he was reported missing and it is believed that the remains are under that septic tank but lack the proof for a warrant to dig it up. Today Carole continues to lie and fraud the public with her so called world's largest sanctuary. She did not file for non-profit status until 2003 but on her website she claims that it has been in business since 1992. From 1992 to the early 2000's Carole called her place of business then Wildlife of Easy Street which was a breeding farm for exotic cats. Buying most of the animals totaling over $97,000.
