I applied for a loan online. I was shortly contacted by a guy named Gordon Hunter. He said I was approved for a loan for $5000. He then email me the terms and conditions of my loan. He asked for a copy of my state ID and my social security card. He told me that I had three options to use for security. I chose the option to pay $341. He told me to go to Western Union and get a money transfer and send it to my "lender" who names was John Whissel. I noticed it was going to Cananda but thought nothing of it. He then said to call him with the confirmation number which I did and he told me my money would be in my account by 8pm est time. Never received my money and I called the number that was given to me and now that phone number is not working. I cannot get in touch with Gordon at all. Please help me with this situation. The number that was given to me was 1-888-265-1831. Seemed really professional, had secretaries answering the phone. I just need my money back. I spent $368 total because it was $28 to send it then I seen it was changed in $322 canadian dollars.
