Miscellaneous

I filled out a business survey and was sent to a list of products where I could pick one as a thank you. I selected the DermaPure cream and was taken to a site where I was told I would be given the product for free but needed to pay $1.95 in shipping. I provided my credit card for the shipping and was charged the 1.95 and received the product. Nowhere on the packaging or the web site did it say that this was only a trial and that I was going to be charged if I didn't return it unopened within 10 days (which is what the company representative claimed). About a month later, I received an unsolicited package in the mail with another jar of cream and a charge of $94.90 sent from a "Superior Distribution". I was horrified and checked my account balance only to discover that I had been charged $89.95 already for the first "free" gift and now $94.90 for another unauthorized payment for an unsolicited product. The company takes no responsibility and will not work with me on the $89.95 charge but said that I can send back the 2nd cream and they will reimburse me for the product charge but not the shipping and handling.
