I am an oil and gas worker from Texas sent to the New Martinsville, West Virginia area to work. The rent in the area is outrageously price. Rental homes and apartments that where renting $300 to 400 a year ago is now $1000 to $1600. I am a hard working tax paying American does not mind pay rent that is slightly increase but a 200% or more increase is just immoral. This should not be allowed and the city management should do something about it.
