Miscellaneous

After seeing an ad on Facebook, I signed up for a $5 trial 1 month period with BE2. At the end of the month I emailed them to say I wanted to cancel. But they automatically took $234 from my mastercard for a further 6 month period. They said they would not refund and I needed to let them know earlier if I did not want to continue. They said it was all in the small print that this is what they do... But I've never heard of such a scandalous practice before. I only signed up because it was $5 and I certainly wouldn't have signed up for 6 months at $234. I don't like their product and I don't want it. I want my money back, but as they're an internet company overseas I don't know what can be done? I'm a single mother of 3 children, one with Autism and I really can't afford this wasted expense. I'm consider myself a smart person, I have a science degree majoring in computer science. If I can be scammed by these faceless creatures, then there's a whole world of potential victims out there and something needs to be done.
